Overview
Absolute poker joined the
Cereus Poker network in 2008 A major update of the Absolute
Poker software followed f the merger and now offers all the
features expected from a major player in the online poker
community - fast play, good looking graphics, nice statistics

The game variety at Absolute Poker is also very good, offering
Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven-Card Stud, Seven-Card

somewhat concentrated to Texas Hold'em, and in particular
shorthanded games, but Omaha is picking up in popularity as
are the mixed games.

In heads-up poker tournaments, players face individual opponents in a series of matches. Absolute Poker offers heads-up poker tournaments as Sit & Go events or scheduled multi-table tourneys. The winner of each individual match advances to the next round of the heads-up poker tournament that starts once all the matches in the previous round are completed. Players in the second round are randomly matched against other players, and the tournament continues with further rounds of heads-up matches until only a single player remains.
